A global claims management firm are looking for a Data Architect to join the team.

Duties include:

• Work with the business to shape our strategy within the data domain
• Translate business requirements into data architecture solutions
• Carry out design activities in accordance with our Architecture approach, design governance framework and IT landscape
• Support the delivery of a data technology roadmap
• Maintenance of data related documents and artifacts
• Support solution architects during project design and delivery
• Investigation and resolution of data impacting issues.

The successful candidate will be able to work from home or attend one of the many UK offices.

The successful candidatewill have / will be:

• Strong investigation and problem resolution skills
• Effective communication explaining complex concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Excellent data modelling and database design
• Experience of building end to end enterprise data models
• Solid understanding of technologies involved in data management
• Excellent SQL knowledge
• Data sourcing/mapping/conversion
• Data validation/verification/preparation/analysis
• Supporting IT technologies (infrastructure, networking, security etc)

Experience in the following is not essential but would be useful:

• Data migrations
• Data integrations between systems
• Cloud solutions
• As a global business, we are always interested in hearing from candidates with bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills

Salary is negotiable £60-70k + benefits
